In pataphysics, the pataphysical calendar consists of 13 months, each with 29 days, starting with the month of Absolu.
Absolu 1, New Year’s day (September 8 in the vulgar) was the birthday of Alfred Jarry
I wrote short one-minute piano pieces for the first seven days of the year, Absolu 1-7, for a concert at the Ikon Gallery, Birmingham, during an exhibition of the work of the late Barry Flanagan, like me a Transcendant Satrap of the college.
